When I write music, it comes to me like a premonition. I hear it, like picking up a faint radio staiton, with the lyrics, progression, and style already there for the most part. In recording, I attempt to recreate what I first heard. I do whatever I can to get it there, even if it means starting over, and sometimes over again.
